"WINDIAGS" software program is a Microsoft Windows based application designed to run on a PC (usually a laptop) and enables the configuration and diagnosis of Network Controller equipment across a network of CONCEPT 32 telephone concentrators. The WINDIAGS software has two functions: •Allows PNC (Primary Network Controller) and CNC (Concentrator Network Controller) configuration parameters to be set up. •Enables the "Alarm View" program to monitor, display, sort and print current and archived alarms. The WINDIAGS program detects the Network Controller firmware, held in EPROM which determines whether a PNC or CNC is being configured, and displays the appropriate screen. The WINDIAGS Alarm View program allows the engineer to display: •Current Alarms •Recent Alarms—alarms that are no longer in force •Historical Alarms—alarms recorded in the alarm archive file Files may be deleted or printed using the appropriate button. A search may be made for a specific fault/s in Alarm Log View. WINDIAGS is supplied on a CD-ROM with supporting documentation. |
